About Emily

As well as acting, I enjoy a varied career.  I teach at Royal Central School of Speech, Mountview on the BA Acting course and at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

At Central, I have sat on the audition panel and have years of experience, working in their Business Department, helping people become more effective communicators.  Clients include NHS and Met Police.

As a a trainer, with Speakers Trust,  I help adults improve their presentation skills and deliver the Jack Petchey "Speak Out" Challenge in hundreds of schools; the largest Public Speaking Competition for young people in the world! I love working with young people, helping them grow in confidence and building oracy in schools.

I am also a qualified LAMDA Teacher and enjoy working with students of all ages to increase their confidence, creativity and help them to develop a love of drama.

I am proud to be a recently qualified Audio Describer, having trained with VocalEyes, and am passionate about making the arts accessible to all.  Recent projects include AD for BBC, Donmar Warehouse, Kiln Theatre, Watford Palace, West End and British Library.
